Sylvania, Ohio-based S&G operates convenience stores under the S&G Stores and Stop & Go Stores brands.

In 2022, following the acquisition of 12 Barney's stores, the company took over the c-stores' operations and renamed them S&G. It divested several locations in 2022 and early 2023 to be better positioned for future acquisitions. In late summer, the company plans to open two 4,500-square-foot new-construction stores with better food offerings in Monclova and Oregon, Ohio. It is working with Chester's Chicken and Godfather's Pizza on a dual-concept location expected to open in 2023.

S&G won The Reader's Choice Award for best convenience-store chain in the Toledo Market for 2021 and 2022 and is a 2023 nominee. It sponsored over 12 children's charities and numerous community events in the Toledo area.

S&G partners with PDI on data analysis for more precise marketing efforts. Its Real Deal Rewards platform uses geofencing and market basket promotions specific to a customer's purchase history to deliver relevant offers for savings.
