Englefield Oil Co. operates the regional convenience-store chain Duchess Shoppes. Operating primarily in Ohio, but also in West Virginia, the 1,200- to 2,800-square-foot stores offer foodservice, fuel, retail and other services. Most units offer the company’s private-label fuel, but select locations have BP fuel.
Stores feature a Duchess Deli and Crown Cafe. The Crown Card offers three rewards levels—bronze, silver and gold—and rewards escalate based on how much customers spend on fuel and in-store items.
In addition to running the network of c-stores, the oil company supplies motor fuels and lubricants, as well as other related services, to wholesale and retail marketers in Ohio.
