Retailing “the Friendly way,” Friendly Express traces its origins to Lewis Oil Co. (now Lewis and Raulerson Inc.). Over the years, the Shell-branded company has acquired several convenience-store chains, including Sunrise Foods, Georgia Lil’ Champ and Friendly Marts.

The chain is known for its array of food options, including its proprietary, homemade DeDe’s doughnuts, which are made fresh every day at the majority of locations, and Express Market Pizza. The chain’s fountain-drink program offers 12 to 16 heads, as well as flavor shots, depending on the location.

The DeDe’s mark expands beyond doughnuts to specially roasted coffee made using the Arabica beans from Colombia.

Friendly Express strives to hire hard-working people with an affinity for taking customer service to the highest level. It gives back to its communities and works diligently to keep stores safe.
