Fastrip Food Stores

Jaco Oil Co. owns more than 50 convenience stores branded as Fastrip Food Stores in California and Arizona. Most are leased to independent operators. The target customers are males and females 18 to 50 years old; about 40% of customers are Hispanic, and all employees speak Spanish.

Foodservice is not a focus for Fastrip. Instead, stores focus on take-home grocery items and fill-in shopping needs. Full-size grocery items available include gallons of milk, boxes of cereal, bread, bacon, sugar, salt, flour, canned goods and fresh-food items. Jaco has been expanding its selection of fresh produce, adding apples, oranges, berries and lettuce.
