Gas Land Petroleum

Gas Land Petroleum is a family-owned company operating more than 60 fuel stations with c-stores. It is also a fuel distributor to another portfolio of sites through its Gas Land Trucking Co. The company also has a construction business that develops, builds and renovates stations. Stations and stores are designed individually to fit their market, and there is no company brand. Instead, locations are branded by the fuel, with the majority either Shell or Sunoco. Diesel is available at most of the stations, unless there is insufficient space, or the community does not permit diesel fueling. Sites are owned by the company but run by independent operators. The operator is responsible for all aspects of the business, including purchasing and hiring. The company offers a collective buying service to its operators through Mousa Mart. Gas Land prefers to acquire or build stores in the 3,000-square-foot range, with room for a franchise restaurant operation.
