Founded in 1946 by Mr. & Mrs. Louis Levin, Midwest Petroleum operates convenience stores, gas stations and a truck plaza sitting on 60 acres. It offers a competitive advantage by incorporating area products in its stores.
Sites range from modern 3,000-square-foot stores with 10 or 12 MPDs to 800-square-foot stores in downtown St. Louis. Stores are open 24 hours, and some locations have a car wash. The stores sell local brands of beer along with national and value brands. Many stores have beer caves, and wine and liquor also are available.
