Taking its Southern heritage seriously, Brabham Oil’s E-Z Shops (which includes truckstops) and its proprietary Horizon gasoline brand are highly recognizable in central and upstate South Carolina.

The family-operated business seeks to make every customer interaction a pleasant one, with its largest challenge being offering products at affordable prices for a primarily blue-collar customer base. With a “less is more” marketing strategy, Brabham offers name-brand category items. Other standard items stocked include dairy fare such as yogurt, eggs and cheese. In beach stores, general-merchandise items such as umbrellas and boogie boards are well positioned. Stores also stock items embossed with University of South Carolina and Clemson University logos.

Brabham’s wholesale-fuel distribution business takes advantage of logistics; the corporate office and distribution facilities are based in Bamberg, S.C., a centralized location that’s able to provide fast, reliable service to retail and commercial customers across the state.
