Applegreen PLC

Irish c-store retailer Applegreen, a subsidiary of Petrogas Group U.S. Inc., Plainview, N.Y., made its U.S. debut in 2014 after opening its first sites in New York state. It made its Top 202 debut in 2019, after a series of acquisitions swelled its store count. Most recently, Applegreen PLC and Petrogas Global Ltd. acquired seven c-stores and the wholesale fuels distribution business of Carolina Convenience Corp. in South Carolina. Applegreen also has a sale-leaseback relationship with Getty Realty Corp., which acquired fee-simple interests in six c-store and gas-station properties in 2018.
