Jet Food Stores Inc.

Jet Food Stores is a privately-owned chain with 49 stores, all located within 21 counties in middle and South Georgia. Stores fly a variety of fuel flags, including BP, Chevron, Marathon and Jet. The chain is opening its 50th store in 2019. In addition to in-store promotions, Jet has a mobile app to help customers research gasoline prices, find nearby stores and access coupons exclusive to app users. As its name implies, Jet Food Stores sell grocery items as well as fuel, tobacco, snacks and fountain drinks.

Prepared foods are a hallmark of the chain. Many stores serve Southern-style comfort foods, with breakfast, lunch and snack items. Biscuits and biscuit sandwiches are featured for breakfast, and the lunch menu includes fried chicken, pork chops, hamburgers and fish, with sides of turnip greens, mashed potatoes, corn, macaroni and cheese and green beans. A specialty is homemade peach cobbler. 

Jet Food Stores holds an annual golf classic to benefit NephCure Kidney International, the only organization committed to supporting research to cure focal segmental glomerulosclerosis and nephrotic syndrome.
