McClure Oil Corp.

Privately operated McClure Oil Corp. runs three lines of business: wholesale petroleum distribution, fuel stops and convenience stores that offer both Sunoco- and Marathon-branded fuel products. The company takes pride in its higher standard of customer service in its mostly rural stores, where it offers cleanliness combined with speedy service.

The majority of stores sell diesel, with some offering off-road diesel, kerosene and E85.

Snacks are a popular category for McClure: Candy occupies 16 to 20 feet of space under counters around the checkout. The stores have a limited selection of groceries, with frozen food consisting only of ice cream novelties and snacks. Gallons, half-gallons and pints of milk come in 2%, vitamin D and whole milk.
