CHS Inc. aims to offer friendly customer service and a variety of energy products, including refined fuel, propane, lubricants and related equipment.

CHS (formerly Cenex Harvest States Cooperatives) is a diversified energy, grains and foods company owned by farmers, ranchers, cooperatives and thousands of preferred stockholders. It owns both the Cenex and company-operated Zip Trip c-store brands. Cenex is one of the largest c-store networks in North America; the stores are independently owned and managed by operators who have total control over their locations’ floor plan, layout, stock, foodservice, category reset and services. All stores offer a wide range of snacks and prepared foods and beverages.

Cenex Zip Trip stores, located in Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming, feature quick-service restaurants such as Taco John’s, A&W Restaurants Inc. and Smash Hits. In January 2018, CHS sold 33 Zip Trip sites in Washington and Idaho to Par Petroleum LLC that will remain branded as Cenex Zip Trip.

The nation’s largest cooperative refiner, CHS operates petroleum refineries/pipelines and manufactures, markets and distributes refined fuels, renewable fuels, lubricants and propane, primarily under the Cenex brand.
