Johnson Oil Co.

Johnson Oil was founded in 1959 and opened its first c-store in 1979. It established Express Lane in 1985. The company operates a regional collection of c-stores in Illinois and Iowa that range from kiosks to truckstops. Stores sell a selection of goods, including tobacco products, a full range of foodservice and convenience goods, and propane.

Johnson Oil, a private, family-operated company, is also a fuel distributor for the Shell and BP brands. It also owns and operates Subway restaurants within BP and Shell c-stores.
