Weigel's Stores Inc.

Weigel’s operates its 67 c-stores, a dairy and a bakery within a 100-mile radius of its corporate headquarters in Powell, Tenn. The chain has dairy roots, with the Weigel family launching the business in 1931 selling raw milk. Its first brick-and-mortar location—a drive-thru dairy store in East Tennessee—opened in 1958.

New stores feature the Weigel’s Kitchen foodservice concept, which offers pizza, panini sandwiches, Mexican specialties and snacks, as well as specialty coffees. The stores also have  food-ordering kiosks. Weigel’s loyalty program offers free milk, special tobacco deals and cents off per gallon on fuel.

Weigel’s has a strong local connection, committing in 2019 to sell milk produced exclusively in Tennessee.
