BFS Cos. strives to offer “Better, Faster Service” at its BFS Foods stores in West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1974 as Bruceton Farm Service, an agriculture business, and began opening the first BFS Foods c-stores in the early 1980s. It has since grown to more than 60 sites through a combination of acquisitions and new builds, opening its newest location in Parsons, W.Va., in April 2019. BFS operates more than 80 quick-service restaurant brands inside of or next to its c-stores, including Dairy Queen, Burger King, Gloria Jean’s Coffees, Huddle House, IHOP, Subway and Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop.
