Parker’s is chain of regional, large-format c-stores operating in Georgia and South Carolina. The company strives to provide a premium shopping experience in a safe, friendly and convenient environment while selling fuels and quality, well-merchandised products at competitive prices. The working mother is a key target customer.
Stores offer a broad selection of foodservice items, including items from Parker’s Market, the company’s private-label gourmet foods, deli and bakery brand. Parker’s also has a wide selection of freshly brewed, customizable coffees as well as cold and frozen beverages at its beverage station. In addition, Parker’s features a large variety of hot foods available from a self-serve heated display bar—including create-your-own breakfast sandwiches, fried chicken and sides—as well as a grill and an ice cream and sweets bar. In March 2018, the retailer launched a Southern-inspired food menu to 30 stores and extended its foodservice hours to 7 p.m. at all locations.
The chain regularly opens a couple of new builds each year. In March, the chain acquired two c-stores in South Carolina. And in May, Parker’s announced it will invest $50 million in the Charleston, S.C., market to set up nine convenience stores by the end of this year.
The chain ranked No. 24 on CSP's 2019 Fuels 50, a list of the most effective fuel brands in the United States.
