Holiday Oil is a regional chain of c-stores in Salt Lake, Utah and Tooele counties that was founded in 1964 by Jerry Wagstaff. It is known for its clown logo; clean, well-maintained stores; and friendly staff. Its mission, according to the company’s Facebook page, is “To give our employees an opportunity to provide for their families. Improve their lives through service and continuing education. We want to instill good morals and ethics to all we associate with.”
Holiday Oil offers Chevron-, Sinclair- and Texaco-branded fuel; car-wash services; hot and cold food and beverages; tobacco; and other convenience items. Most units have beer caves stocked with national brands, imports and crafts.
