Cole's Energy receives much mileage in leveraging its iconic giant moose mascot, Mickey the Moose—prominently displayed at 41 Mickey Mart-branded sites scattered across northern Ohio. The mascot has become a cult following to the point when the chain sells "Moose Merch" featuring Mickey the Moose goal-setting calendars, plush toys and Mickey the Moose comics. The chain's footprint stretches from Toledo to the west to Cleveland to the east, and between Lake Erie and Mayfield, Ohio. Stores offer BP-branded fuel and inside stores quick-service restaurant partners include Taco Bell, Subway and Dunkin.' Leveraging its mascot yet again, the chain expanded its foodservice footprint with proprietary Mickey's chicken and deli counters, with at least 10 stores now operating the program as of first-quarter 2020. All stores will be up and running with this food offer by the end of 2020. Mickey Mart also participates in community events, with Mickey the Moose making appearances at local festivals, local libraries and nonprofit organizations.
