Enex

A subsidiary of Chilean conglomerate Quinenco, Enex finalized its acquisition of the Road Ranger convenience brand in late 2018_a deal that integrated into the fold Rockford, Ill.-based Road Ranger's travel centers in Texas, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Missouri and Wisconsin. The company increased its retail network to 39 locations from later 2019 into 2020. The Road Ranger c-store mission is built on the premise of operating "market dominant stores" helmed by a team of committed employees. Within its corporate culture, the Shell-branded retailer embraces bold ideas while providing selfless customer service. Enex/Road Ranger strives to also provide families and professional drivers with what it calls "highway hospitality," demonstrated by delivery of top tier fuel, quality food and superior customer service.

An array of eclectic food brands are offered, including Subway offered in a smaller network footprint, Burger King, Wendy's, McDonalds, Dickey's Barbecue Pit, Dan's Famous Pizza Big Slice and Road Ranger Tejas Taco.
