With more than 40 years of experience; Haag Oil of Topeka owns and operates stores, automatic car washes and delivers gasoline and diesel fuel to farms, ranches, construction sites, trucking fleets and school bus fleets.
It operates in northeastern Kansas, within arm's reach of the more-populous Kansas City, Kan.-area_in communities including home base Topeka and university town Lawrence. Its retail assets are split somewhat equally across three fuel brands: BP, Cenex and Phillips 66.
In-store merchandising includes limited-, self- and quick-service restaurant options, while on the packaged side the stores offer a wide variety of branded, proprietary and private-label items. Its Topeka stores concentrate on traditional convenience store items, such candy and snacks, while stores in rural areas are known to stock a larger lineup of grocery items.
Haag Oil is regarded as one of the region's largest providers of fuel for emergency generators at hospitals, government facilities and utilities. In rural locations, its stores provide grocery and other items for customers not living close to supermarkets.
For benchmarking purposes, store counts are year-end 2019.
