Lassus Bros. Oil

For more than 90 years, Lassus has owned and operated BP-branded Handy Dandy convenience stores in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio—stores that were fitted with a new store design in spring 2019.

The corporate mission is operating as a good steward within communities served, and advocating for the well-being of employees, their families and customers. The goal is executed via clean store environments, customer courtesy, solid compensation and amenable working conditions.

Higher Grounds premium coffee is made to order while Elmo's Pizza & Subs is the proprietary brand offering pizza, toasted subs, wraps, salads, sausage rolls and breakfast sandwiches. All items are available for carryout, with eat-in options at some locations.

The Lassus Instant Gas Discount card enables users to receive an immediate discount on each gallon of fuel by paying for their purchase with a checking account withdrawal. Lassus Handy Dandy also shares profits within its communities, and the Lassus Bros. Oil Foundation supports dozens of national and regional causes.

Specifically, the Lassus Foundation was launched as a continuing way to give back to communities. To this day, the foundation donates to more than 60 charities, and customers of Lassus Handy Dandy have been provided the opportunity of choosing their favorite charity from that list.
