Star Stop stores are in Houston, Austin and San Antonio and all are owned and operated by Panjwani Energy. The company reported it owns 98 stores. A few sites were temporarily closed during the year for remodeling or a rebuild, according to partner Shahrukh Panjwani. Most range in size from 1,000 to 2,500 square feet, and newer stores have commercial space attached to the store. Some feature attached QSRs such as Burger King and a car wash. All sites sell fuel.
