Promising the "Beary Best in Convenience"—a nod to the brand's bear mascot—Cubby's operates convenience stores, truck plazas and supermarkets across Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota. Cubby's has continued adding new food brands to stores, with Chester's Chicken entering one location and Blu Taco another in Sioux Falls, S.D. Piccadilly Circus Pizza and Godfather's Pizza are also available at a number of Cubby's, and the chain offers what it touts "Gas Station BBQ" at its Mormon Bridge unit.

At least one Cubby's units boasts a full-service meat department with full-time butcher, allowing customers to select from favorite cuts of beef, fresh seafood selections, poultry and pork. Cubby's 10 truck plazas and proprietary fleet management fueling credit card is designed to handle business fueling needs, regardless of whether a business fleet consists of two vehicles or 20.
