Known for its self-serve foodservice options, Piedmont Petroleum Corp., a second-generation, family-operated business, runs Corner Market stores throughout upper South Carolina. With stores open late for customer convenience–several 24 hours a day—locations offer CITGO-branded fuel. Inside stores, the plan-o-gram emphasizes beer and wine with an emphasis on national beer brands: coolers average five doors per store for beer stock. The cold vault stocks eggs, cheese and milk in various sizes, and stores receive weekly deliveries of fresh bananas, apples and oranges.
