Cox Oil Co. is a family business that operates the Little General and Maverick Quick Shop chains of convenience stores in western Kentucky and Tennessee.

During the spring and summer, Little General stores team up with the St. Louis Cardinals to give away baseball tickets. Foodservice is offered at all stores and features a local favorite, Cluckers Tennessee Fried Chicken, as well as Hunt Brothers Pizza and Baskin-Robbins. Full meals and grab-and-go foods are available from the deli. Occasional limited-time offers include specials such as wing platters and "two-for" pricing on selected products.

Stores sell Shell or Marathon fuels. Little General stores have been serving local communities since 1970.
