Alliance Energy (Alltown)

Alliance Energy LLC is wholly owned by Global Partners LP. Alliance serves as a marketing and operations arm to Global Partners.

In 2013, the company launched its new store brand, Alltown, which offers a proprietary foodservice concept called Alltown Café. It converted 45 stores in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut to Alltown by late 2013.

In 2012, Global Partners acquired 190 gas stations in three Northeastern states from ExxonMobil for $200 million in a move to expand its wholesale supply business. Global Partners has the right to supply Mobil-branded gasoline and diesel fuel to those stations and another group of Mobil stations owned and operated by independent dealers. Alliance handles day-to-day management and operations.

Alliance also provides fuel to the dealer sites. Company-operated sites have a c-store, branded Fast Freddie's, Mr. Mike's, Alltown and On the Run. Alliance's c-store arrangements include salary operations, leased locations and contract dealers.

The company distributes more than 400 million gallons of fuel annually. Fuel brands include Shell, ExxonMobil, Gulf, Sunoco and CITGO, as well as the licensed Global proprietary brand.

In 2008, Alliance Energy purchased 68 c-store and dealer assets owned by Peterborough Oil Co. Inc., owner and operator of retail petroleum marketing outlets and c-stores branded as Mr. Mike's.
