Sunshine Gasoline Distributors Inc. began operations in 1987 in South Florida, where its business remains today. Owner and president Maximo Alvarez, a native of Cuba, founded the company, initially creating a fuel distributorship network representing BP, Chevron, CITGO, Shell and Texaco brands.
As for the company’s retail network, Sunshine combines direct-operations, leasing and an additional 125 jobber clients.
