QuickChek Corp., the family-owned and -operated chain of convenience food stores with locations in New Jersey and the mid-Hudson Valley of New York, includes 11 pharmacy stores and 46 locations with QuickChek gasoline, 40 of which also pump diesel fuel.

QuickChek first entered New York in 2008, and it has continually added more stores there over the past few years, opening a store on Long Island in 2014, with 20 to 30 more planned in the area.

The chain is also constantly remodeling its facilities to keep the stores fresh and up-to-date. Many stores are open 24 hours a day.

QuickChek opened its first convenience store on Long Island. The unit is nearly 6,600 square feet on a 3-acre parcel with 81 parking positions.

This QuickChek store’s 21-foot coffee bar not only has 10 different varies of java, but it also includes the sustainably sourced Reserve Coffee blend and four varieties of iced coffee.

Adult customers with a taste for something specialized can choose from a bevy of bottles in the store’s 22-foot craft-beer section, which lets customers make their own 6-packs.

Touch screens allow hungry patrons to order signature or customized sandwiches, salads, wraps and breakfast items to their liking. The offer is complemented by a six-pot soup bar.

A 20-foot fountain wall offers 16 heads of dispensed beverages, six types of QuickFreeze frozen carbonated beverages, and two tea urns and milkshake dispensers.

The QuickChek c-store offers freshly made subs on bread baked on site.

The foodservice menu includes subs, salads, wraps and breakfast items.

The store includes a 20-door cold vault with eight beer doors.

The Long Island QuickChek c-store boasts a new, expanded natural-snack section.
